Connect Attested to Claude

Use Attested's evidence authentication tools directly from Claude, Cowork, Claude Code, and any MCP-compatible client.

Section 01

Overview

Attested connects to Claude through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, you can authenticate evidence, generate certificates, extract timelines, and run case workflows without leaving Claude.

The connection uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. You log into your Attested account once, authorize the connection, and Claude remembers it. No API keys to copy or manage.

Setup

Step 1: Open Claude Settings

Navigate to Settings > Connectors (or Integrations) in Claude.

Step 2: Add Attested

Click “Add custom connector” and enter:

URL: https://www.attested.legal/api/mcp

Leave OAuth Client ID and Secret blank (Attested uses automatic registration).

Click Add.

Step 3: Authorize

Claude will redirect you to attested.legal. Log in with your Attested account and click “Authorize.” You will be redirected back to Claude with all 10 tools available.

Requires an Attested account with an active subscription. Sign up at attested.legal if you do not have one.

List all your cases with case numbers, court, and file counts.

Verify that an evidence file has not been altered since upload by recomputing its SHA-256 hash.

Section 05

Security

OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. No passwords or API keys are stored in Claude.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Attested never shares your case data with other users.
You can revoke Claude's access at any time in Attested Settings > Integrations.
Attested is built on Supabase with row-level security policies ensuring data isolation between users.

Troubleshooting

“No tools available”

Remove the connector and re-add it using https://www.attested.legal/api/mcp (include www).

“Authorization failed”

Make sure you are logged into your Attested account in the browser. If your session expired, log in at attested.legal first, then retry the connection.

“Feature requires Professional subscription”

Some tools (certificate generation, AI review) require a Professional or Enterprise subscription. Upgrade at attested.legal/pricing.

“Tool returned an error”

Check that the case or file you referenced exists in your account. Tool access is scoped to your own data.
