Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the policies of Verifore Technologies LLC, a Louisiana limited liability company, regarding refunds and cancellations for Attested subscriptions (the "Service").

1. Monthly Subscriptions

Subscription fees for monthly plans are non-refundable. Subscribers may cancel at any time and will retain access through the end of the current billing period.

• Cancellation: You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support
• Continued Access: After cancellation, you retain full access to all features until the end of your current billing period
• Data Retention: Your files are retained for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to download or export your data
• Automatic Downgrade: After your subscription ends, your account automatically converts to the free Essential tier

2. Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis within thirty (30) days of initial purchase if no Evidence files have been processed and no Certificates have been generated. After thirty (30) days or upon first substantive use of the Service, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.

3. Overage Charges

Overage charges accrued during the billing cycle are non-refundable. Overage charges are metered automatically based on usage in excess of your tier's monthly allowances and are invoiced through Stripe at the end of each billing cycle.

4. Free Tier (Essential)

The Essential tier is free and does not involve any payments. No refunds are applicable.

6. Account Termination for Violations

If your account is terminated for violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy:

• No Refunds: No refunds will be issued for any remaining subscription period
• Immediate Suspension: Your account and all data will be immediately suspended
• Data Retention: Data may be retained for legal purposes or law enforcement investigations

7. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be submitted to anthony@attested.legal with the Subscriber's account email and the reason for the request. Verifore Technologies LLC will respond within seven (7) business days.

8. Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 5 to 7 business days for refunds to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card issuer.

9. Severability

If any provision of this Refund Policy is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from this policy shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana.
